Hey guys, im considering upgrading my 60hz samsung monitor for a 144hz monitor, i ve been looking for hours on internet reading reviews and opinions in communities and forums and i have no clue which is the best choice in the end, all having different opinions and strong ones so its really hard to decide so im gonna tell you what do i need it for and i would listen your suggestions, im open to other options as well.

Mainly i will have the monitor for gaming like moba's, fps shooting games, RPG'S, but i spend a lot of time watching movies and tv shows also so i do like a good picture quality, im not planning to be a professional gamer i have no such skills, i just want to be more competitive with smoother gaming.

Also im looking to buy a monitor on discounts and such in Europe if possible, is there going to be any discounts this time of year and in which popular shops?

In my country a popular value for money choise its the Asus VG248QE it costs 276€ the rest are 300+€

I own 980Ti so im not interested in AMD Sync and i dont have the money for G-Sync

No, just worse value.

The VG248QE uses PWM backlighting which may cause more eyestrain. The XL2411Z doesn't have DisplayPort. Both of them have HDMI implemented with reduced bandwidth so it can't be used for >60 Hz, which can limit flexibility, since adapters can't be used to connect to Dual-Link DVI or DisplayPort (this is more of a problem for the BenQ since it doesn't have DP, and can only accept 144 Hz over DVI). And the panel in the XG2401 is generally a bit better looking. The Samsung will be much better looking, since it has a VA panel which will give deeper blacks...

The XL2411Z and VG248QE are both very old models and I don't recommend them unless they are on a large discount... If the XG2401 isn't much more, I'd go for that one instead.

The Samsung will be much better looking, since it has a VA panel which will give deeper blacks, and a wider gamut backlight, but I assume it's more expensive than the others, and the curved panel is not appealing so some people.
