[SOLVED] Dimension E520 motherboard in an Dimension E510 system

I'm trying to upgrade my Dimension E510 PC with an Intel Pentium D-945. I found out that the Pentium D-9xx models aren't compatible with the E510. After further research, I found that the E520 motherboard does support this chipset, and I was wondering if anyone here knew if the E520 motherboard could fit in the same case as the E510.

I don't see a problem for fitting inside. Back panels look sligthly different, so you may have to Dremel yours.

However, it seems 510 has old-style PATA connector. CD/DVD drive might be connected there, and you won't be able to use it on 520.
