DIR-815 Connectivity issues

Hi i have the DLink DIR-815 Dual Band N Router. and i am the only person connected through the back of the router. and there are 3 others using the wireless. My internet is seems to go from ok to the slowest possible. to the point of taking an hour to buffer a 2 minute Youtube video.

Now i know some of my roomates are using Netflix, and what have you but if there is more than one person active on the internet the speeds go down and some of them even get booted from the wireless.

What do you think my issue is and how can i go about fixing it. keep in mind im not that skilled when it comes to routers.

You internet, probably more likely that it's the router, is being overused and can't keep up with the demand of the household.

is there anything i can try that may, i dont know Isolate them from me? like isolate Wireless band from ethernet band?

You all share the same line, you isolating yourself from them isn't going to work.
