Direct X and windows 10.

Hey guys,

So when I install windows 10 will DirectX 9,10,11 etc be installed by itself or do I manually have to do it?

If I manually have to do it can you tell me which of the directx's I need?

Also, do I need to install directX12 on my or does windows do that as well?

Windows will automatically install all the DirectX files, no need for any manual installations.
Depending on how old your install media is it will take a while to fully update.
Before the install, download and save out the latest versions of all the other drivers the system will need-Motherboard, sound, chipset, graphics etc, that way you'll be able to bring the system right up-to-date as quickly as possible.

Nope, you don't need to install directx separately.
Windows 10 comes with directx 12.

Generally when you install a new game it also installs the most recent version of directx it has available, then Win10 has directx already packaged anyway.
