I am getting a Direct X error when I play Battlefield 4 sometimes the Direct X error says something about my GTX 660 hung (this issue should be looked into)
I haven't overclocked my GPU I have re-installed windows and I am running the new Nvidia Drivers.

My System is:

OS: Windows 8 Professional x64
Processor: Intel Core i5 3470
Memory: 16GB DDR3 Corsair Vengance LP 1600Mhz
GPU: Leadtek Winfast GTX 660

When you run the tool a window will appear, check every tab there will be a white text box at the bottom. Read through them (if theres anything) to see if any problems were detected.

If it doesn't help you can go ahead and download the thing in the link I gave you. It will restore Direct X files to original condition hopefully solves your problem. Usually when a game crashes from a DX related error it solves the problem.

To use it, run it and it will prompt you where to extract all the installation files. Go to where it is extracted, find and run DXSETUP.exe

I hope this helps

No it's not about battlefield 4 it's about your system...i think you should update your system.....It might work......Try to download the latest version of directx from it's official site.....(the latest version is 11)
