DirectX 12 Performance on R7 250

I have an XFX R7 250 1GB GDDR5 and I recently read about DirectX 12 and how it would make a difference in gaming. I also read about the R7 250 supporting DirectX 12.
I want to know whether it would make any difference in existing games as well as DirectX 12 supporting games or just the supporting games.

DirectX 12 will take some time getting here, as it is only for windows 10, and that is still in development, and then games need to start using it. since DX12 is a low-level API (like mantle), it will give DEVs more control over the hardware. this will greatly improve performance, especially for low-mid range GPUs (like yours). you will see around 10 FPS (or more) increase in games, ones they start using it. try playing battlefield 4 with DX11 and mantle, as it can use mantle. that will give you the same effect.
