Directx 9 0 update error

hey,um...anytime i try to play this game a error comes up saying DirectX 9.0c update error something with a render device? can anyone help me fix that problem?

What game and what video card?

Assuming you are using Vista/7, you need to go to microsoft and download/run their Direct X Updater to update the DX9 libaries to their latest version.

Could also be you have a non-supported GPU...
