Hi everyone, I just finished installing windows 10 and ran the dxdiag and the version is blank. I installed the latest geforce drivers, and the version is still blank. Is there any other way i could install directx 12?

Solution
Its blank? Did you let it load for a minute sometimes dxdiag takes a minute to populate all the results. If it you did screenshot the dxdiag page and I will take a look, im not sure whats causing it.
As far as I can tell the only APU's that support DX12 anyway are the 7000 series. It would have to be a Kaveri or Godavari apu to support DX12. Your chip is richland and you would need to upgrade if you wanted DX12 support. Although those chips have DX12 support it also doesn't mean they have full support. DX12 has different tiers of support as well now.

so the gpu i have isn't a factor at all? i have an asus gtx 750 ti

Oh I couldn't see that from your screenshot. Yes the gpu does matter. I thought you only had the apu. Although your 750Ti is a maxwell based gpu it is an early revision of maxwell and doesn't have full dx12 support. It does have some though but they are sold as dx11.2 cards. But from some sites charts the early maxwell gpus will have some dx12 functionality.

I'm still kind of confused about the whole dx12 thing myself. It seems that the people who are still rocking 700 series nvidia gpus will get most but not all of the feature levels in dx12. So I guess you will have some dx12 support but not fully? lol I know it doesn't answer your question at all but I thought originally that you only had the apu and were using integrated graphics of that chip which would have no support for dx 12.
