Hello good people,
I've got this weird issue causing me headaches (and 3 lost competitive races) so far, but I can't find the issue. Sometimes my PC just decide to crash completely when playing DiRT Rally 2.0. Crash in style like hard turn off and restart. Weirdly it's the only game which cause my PC crash in such way. Other games (MSFS 2020, Forza Horizon 4, Forza Motorsport 7) never crashed (MSFS had crashed due GPU Driver timing out in the past, but didn't happen once last month)

Nothing could be found in Event Log, nor BSOD viewer.

Temperatures are fine (around 60-70°C for Both CPU and GPU)
Specs:
Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro WiFi
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
Gigabyte 16GB 3733CL18 RAM
Sapphire RX 5600XT
Samsung 970 Evo, 980 and 860 QVO 1TB SSDs
Seasonic Focus GX-650 (newer version)

If you need more informations, I'll try my best to deliver.
Thanks in advance

Try these:
  • Disconnect from internet
  • Uninstall gpu driver using DDU (clean and do not restart).
  • Uninstall all the processors on device manager (should be 12 on yours) like this:

  • Restart the pc to bios, and update to the latest bios(download, extract the files and copy it to flashdrive, plug it on top rear usb slot then reboot to bios and flash the bios). Then go to bios again after update and load default or optimized settings.

  • boot up to windows and install the latest AMD Chipset driver, reboot and connect to internet.

  • Install the latest nvidia driver.

*do this all offline until reboot after installing amd chipset driver, also you may reboot to bios after all of this to set the XMP (and bios settings you did previously), make sure your ram is on slot 2 and 4. Download needed files (highlighted word) before doing step 1, do the step by orders.

  • And check windows update (and optional updates) if there is any. Also enable Hardware Accelerated Graphics Scheduling in graphics settings like this and reboot:

Make sure the psu connected to the gpu is 1 pcie cable per 1 slot (use main cable, not the branches/split) like this:

Hello, thanks for the reply

DDU didn't worked, already tried many times before

I'll try to uninstall the CPU's in Device manager

BIOS was updated to newest version a month ago

Chipset was updated last week

The Hardware Accelerated Graphics Scheduling option is not available for me

GPU is connected correctly

i mean re try to give it a shot, step by step, including ddu ing again, reflash the bios again, etc. like what i did said. also yeah HAGS is not on every gpu so skip that one.
