Dirty bomb heat

Hello guys! I downloaded the game "Dirty Bomb" off steam and began to run it. I didn't need to change any settings and it ran fine. I decided to put my hand over the fan output and it was burning hot. I felt the back of my pc and that was even hotter. It felt like it was about to melt. I am using a AMD Radeon R9 390 Series and a I5 core processor (Devils Canyon). I tried putting it in windowed mode and turning the graphics on the lowest possible and it showed little difference. I have a Hyper evo 212 on the cpu and have had no past trouble of cooling issues. I checked the fans and they are all in working order. I have ran more power hungry games such as Ark Survival Evolved and the fan was outputting just a little heat. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks!

What here is implying anything about the GPU being too hot? Absolutely nothing. Leave your personal biases out of these discussions.

Yes, that's exactly what I am implying. 50% of the video cards exhaust the hot air INSIDE the case and from there will be exhausted by the PS fan, and on the way to that they will heat up everything inside. In this case even the CPU will have trouble dissipating the heat sometimes, depending of the CPU cooling solution. This happens especially in medium size enclosures.
OP didn't specify any of those variables - what brand of card he actually has and what enclosure his PC has.

As for bias, there is none, AMD video cards run super hot (I have owned a few myself) that's a fact.

There are many AMD and Nvidia manufacturers for same basic card models, some have much better cooling than others.
My MSI R7 260 runs cooler than comparable GTX 750 for instance. With all the systems proper case cooling is a must, can't leave all the cooling to parts alone.
