Hi, I recently screwed up my main HDD through EASEUS as the HDD cannot boot anymore (all files still work fine though)

So instead, I got a SSD and installed Windows 8. Throughout my use, I noticed that on boot, it often conflicts with the corrupted HDD which has Windows 10. Whenever I try to install windows 10, I get an error that my PC needs to be repaired. I assume this is from my corrupted Windows 10.
I checked the BIOS for boot order, but neither my SSD nor HDD is listed, and is instead listed as "Windows Boot Manager".

So, how do I disable this corrupted HDD from attempting to boot up?

Solution
If the old hard drive was present when you did a clean install on the ssd, windows allocated a 100mb hidden recovery partition on the hard drive.

Disconnect the hard drive and redo your clean install on the ssd. You can reattach the hard drive later and your files will be available.
You can then delete the old windows flders.

Ahh I see then. Darn. Alright I'll do that and see how it goes.
Is there a way to disconnect the HDD without opening up my computer?

No, just take the side covers off and disconnect either the HDD sata data cable from the hard drive or the power cable.
You can leave the covers off for as long as you want.
