Disable ACPI In Win98SE

Anyone know how to disale ACPI in Windows98Se?
It occupied an IRQ for nothing in my case.
I know I should add an entry in

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Detect

but I don't know what to add.
Any help appreciated

i know that win2k uses ACPI but in most cases it's hard to work with. For win2k some say to disable it in BIOS then instal windoze if you think it will not work
if you disable it in BIOS i think it will not occupy any IRQ, but be carefull the chaos may begin with the other pci boards if you disable it
