Hi I'm just wondered if there is a safe non-destructible way to disable the Bluetooth on my mobo.

I'd rather not get into why i need it but I need to test a new bluetooth dongle with any interference.

I mailed Gigabyte and they said it cant be turned off in the BIOS. Is there a method of removing the Bluetooth chip from the board or something?

Thanks

You can disable it in Device Manager.
Right-click the device and choose "Disable".
Do not choose "Uninstall" because Windows will just re-install it at the next restart.
When disabled their will be a small red cross over it in Device Manager.

It will remain disabled for all subsequent reboots and Windows sessions until you click "Enable" in Device Manager.
