Hello,
recently my headphones broke and since then I have had a small piece of them stuck in the front audio jack, I bought new headphones and I wanted to connect them to the rear audio jack however it appears that Windows and Realtek Audio Console think that the broken piece is connected and for that reason, I am unable to connect my new headphones, is there any way to disable the front audio jack and enable the rear audio jack only?

Thanks for any help, Luke.

The "front panel" connections are at the rightmost part of this?

Yes,

click on the start button and type control, select the control panel.

Inside the control panel select sound.
Inside the new sound windows right click on your front audio device and select disable.
I can't do that as the Front and Rear port use the same Output:

Take a toothpick and get a dab of super glue on the end of it, press it on the end of the broken jack and let it set up ( make sure you only put just enough on it as to not squeeze out and glue the entire jack together) once dry pull the broken part out.
