In Windows 10 go to settings then location and turn it off.

Thanks... I thought that was just for online connections.
It doesn't report a GPS device in W 10.

I have a HP EliteBook 745 G2 14" Notebook with windows 10. Can I remove it, or at least, disable it?

You could disable it in Device Manager. Just Disable it, don't uninstall because it will reinstall on next BOOT.
