Is there any way to completely disable some failed hardware in order to stop annoying beeps?
I'm using Dell laptop with dual graphics (Intel HD and nvidia). But my nvidia graphics card has been corrupted/detached/something_went_wrong. Thus its beeping 6 times continuously. It always beeps while starting (due to POST) and then windows loads. Inside windows, it beeps continuously sometimes, sometimes it does not beep. i.e. I guess its beeping whenever my laptop tries to access nvidia chip.
I tried repairing it with Dell official repair shop and 2 other repair centres, but they all told me that its nvidia issue and need to replace motherboard(very much costly).
I need laptop for only few months. After that I'm planning to buy new one. I can use laptop regularly but it just cant stop beeping. So I'm asking that is there any way to disable nvidia card?
I cant see nvidia card inside windows (not even in device manager). Nvidia drivers says there is no nvidia card (while installation).
So please help me (if stopping beeps is possible).
Thank you.
