Question disable Hyperthreading on i7 9750h

Hello Peeps,

I have a lenovo Y540 with an i7 9750h & gtx 1660ti. I use it for gaming and it's working great.
On quiet mode the cpu stays in the 70 degree mark. So pretty good for a laptop. I already did a -145mv undervolt on the cpu.

Though im wondering if disabling Hyperthreading would reduce heat even more and ofcourse make the laptop quieter that way?
It's a 6 core cpu so i'm positive it will be enough for the things I do. So would it be worth? I can always turn it on again ofccourse?

Thanks in advance!

it shouldn't - hyperthreading allows you to switch between tasks, doesn't necessarily mean you're doing more - maybe utilizing CPU better but accomplishing the same work.

plus some of the new Intel microcode already stunts HT already

it's a little different from disabling physical cores like on the Phenoms etc...
