Disable Motherboard Temp Sensor?

I have an ROG G20 with a faulty motherboard temp sensor. Asus hasn't provided a way to update the BIOS (for Windows 10) yet, so it will remain an eyesore when I open monitoring programs.

Meanwhile, I want some peace of mind by not having to see it, so I'd like to turn the damn thing off. Does anyone know of a way to do this? Thanks ahead of time.

Most monitoring programs let you choose what sensors are displayed. That is your only option.

Why don't you get the faulty motherboard replaced?

But an erroneous mobo reading is usually not a bad sensor, just the third party software not knowing what to make of it.

I've never seen a G20 motherboard sold separately, not to mention attempting to do that would be a monumental task considering the way they're built.

Thanks, but which software? A third party driver?

I can't compare these to a BIOS temp reading since this BIOS only shows the CPU temp. Speccy and CPU-Z show all the other temps in line, so my assumption was that the sensor is what is off.
