[SOLVED] Disable MSI Gaming Trio RTX-3090 RGB from Linux.

I managed to get the MSI RTX 3090 Gaming Trio a couple weeks back at MSRP. So far everything is good except for the RGB lighting. I use linux as my primary OS only booting into windows occasionally. I am able to disable the lighting from windows using mystic lighting software. and it will persist after a reboot, however, if I fully shutdown the system I have to boot back into windows to turn it off. Kind of annoying having to do this every time. I am looking for a way to either control the lights from linux or just permanently disable them. I would prefer no to do anything that voids the warranty on my card. Also I don't think you can just unplug the rgb since it is part of the PCB. Any ideas?

In linux you can use this open source RGB control software, MSI is on support list.

btw. on rtx3090 trio, is it 5 leds directly soldered on pcb with the area around them painted white. the strip is just a diffuser plastic. So physically you can't disconnect them.
