disable network connections-

hey-
is there any way, by either a script, editing the autoexec or something else to disable network connections on boot up/log in for certain users? thanks.

what do you mean by disable network connections? Do they have shared drives mapped, and you don't want them to be persistant?

oh, no, just something that would disable a NIC. basically going into network connections and disabling it, but automated. i'm the only one using, but i wanted to have a user acct with minimal devices enabled. like on mac where you can boot up with a specific set of extensions enabled.

but for what reason? surely it would be easier (and more logical and secure) to assign permissiopns on the resources that you dont want accessing from these specific users, or am I missing somthing?
