Question disable option

should I disable my igpu in the device manager or the bios or does it even matter

I see no reason to disable on a modern rig. Just to be sure, what are the specs for the system in question?

Assuming the monitor(s) are connected to the 4090, there is no reason to disable the iGPU.
Its not being used.

thats true but I noticed with this system and other people have that if you dont disable it steam is slow to open and close for some reason

Must be a different issue. I have a similar rig (biggest difference is I have a different GPU) and don't have that problem. What are you basing your assessment on?

Im basin it on google and I tested it and steam is more responsive when I have it disabled so idk
