Hi, guys.
I have ASUS M5A97PRO MB and AMD X4 980BE CPU.
The cup came with a stuck pwm heat sink, it was working fine for a while during winter but after weather got warmer the cpu temperature started rising , so i went out and get a Cooler Master Hyper N520 .
I didn't notice at first but this cooler has 3pin fans :(.

So i had to connect it to another socket in motherboard so it can control its speed.
But the system wouldn't boot saying that the cpu fan is not connected, so i had to attach the original cpu fan to case and connect it to the MB.

But the cpu's original fan is a 2500RPM and load, and i can't find a pwm fan in my local shops.and i am from Iran so no online shop delivers here :( .

So since there is no way to connect the 3pin fan to a pwm socket and control the speed, is there a way to disable or change the cpu fan socket in the MB ?

tnx in advance.

Tans for the reply,
F1 takes me to the bios setup screen.
So i looked throw all the options in the bios and finally found i.
I always thought that the "Monitor" tab was just for monitoring, so i didn't paid mush attention to it.
There was a "CPU Fan Speed" option in monitor tab that i was able to set to ignore. :D
and it worked ... hahaha i am so stupid ....
