I made a mistake and disabled a HDD in Disk Management. I know its completely stupid of me to do that but it happened. For the life of me, I haven't been able to re activate it. I have tried plugging it in different sata ports and a couple of external setups, but nothing works. I have tried looking it up the issue. Nothing comes close to solving my issue. Could use some advice.

I do not see it in the Disk Management. Like its not even there anymore.

You cant make a drive not show up in disk management from within disk management's options. Did you reopen disk management or rescan drives? Did you reboot the computer? You're missing something simple or the drive's dead. Its not good for a drive if you unplug/connect the sata power while the computer is on. If you've done that you may have damaged it.

The drive is very new. It showed up (in disk management) before I made the mistake disabling the drive. I have restarted, refreshed, and re scan. Nothing has changed. I wish I was missing something simple. The drive spins up and act normal from the outside. Is it possible that I need to re-install the driver for the HDD or is that not possible? I find it hard to believe that the HDD is damage.
