Disabling CPU Fan Check

My PC is having issues with the CPU Fan.
At boot-up, I get an error about the CPU Fan failing.
I can get passed it by pressing F2, but I prefer disabling the error or fan sensor.
Is there any way to do that?

Depending on the board, it should be under hardware monitor in the bios.

Just make sure it is spinning fast enough to cool the cpu. This is a common issue(fan fail warn) with newer larger coolers not needing fast fans.

It would depend on the BIOS of the motherboard, but yes, many have an option to ignore the fan speed.

The CPU Fan is at max speed, so that isn't an issue.
Unfortunately, after looking in the BIOS, I did not see the Hardware Monitoring option.
There isn't a BIOS update available for my board.
Well, that sucks...

Ok, most HP boards tend to lack extra options.

Did you swap the cpu fan? And it is on the cpu fan header near the top of the board?

If you did, maybe you can run the cpu fan on the case fan header and run a case fan from the cpu header(if it spins fast enough for the board to detect). Those boards are designed for the fans they sell with.

I did that.
The issue is still relevant.
I've decided on getting a new MoBo, since other issues have now occurred (bad since I have to spend money, good because I get more features 😀)
