Question disabling lock screen

Automatically signing in is one thing.

Disabling a security setting is another.

And there should be no need for any registry edits. Registry edits are a last resort and should only be attempted after a full system and registry backup.

To disable the lock screen you must have the necessary admin rights to disable the lock screen for yourself or for another user account over which you have admin rights.

Type "Lock screen settings" in the oval shaped Search box normally located in the lower left screen corner.

If you have the applicable rights then you should be able to disable lock screen.
