Disabling USB 3.0 in BIOS

Hi peeps,

I'm currently trying to install Windows 7 on my HP Elitebook 840 G3 laptop. Whilst in the windows 7 setup I am getting an error saying "a required CD/DVD driver is missing". I have found out that it is because of the USB 3.0 ports that is causing this problem. I am having problems finding out where to disable USB 3.0 in my BIOS on my laptop, so that it can revert to using USB 2.0 instead. I am currently running version 1.18 BIOS.

This video should help in some manner though I think that would disable the port entirely instead of asking it to run in USB2.0 mode. Are you sure you didn't recreate the installer for Windows 7 using this method?
