[SOLVED] Disabling Windows Web Search ?

Hello, I followed the article about this subject on the website but it didn't work. I noticed that while the article said to name the new key "DisableSearchBoxSuggestions" I am strangely unable to do so, for some reason I can only name it "DisableSearchBoxSuggestion". I'm guessing this is why it isn't working for me, but I have no idea why I can't add on a single s at the end... does anyone have any idea what is happening here?

If, as I understand your post, "DisableSearchBoxSuggestion" works then just use that as the new key name.

Likely a typo somewhere.

If not working at all then more information is needed.

And I just tried it, it works for me.

At the step it said to create a new key called Explorer, I already had that so just went into that to create the DisableSearchBoxSuggestions and then reboot.

I was able to get it to work, I don't know why I initially couldn't name it properly but when I was trying to fix the name I was trying to rename it in the modify option instead of the rename option.
