HI i have gtx 650ti boost which seems to be stuck in p8.
So i was thinking if i force p0 all the time, will it have any problems like overheating?card damage over time?Or i can force p0 only when im gaming?what do you think?
If it can stay cool at the lowest state i would say so yeah, but if you have the money i would say probably start to think about swapping the card as it could be a sensor that's gone faulty causing the cooler to not adjust properly.
The only negative impacts i can think of would be a shortened lifespan, more noise and a higher power consumption, that is if the card is able to sufficiently cool itself. I wouldn't personally recommend running it this way though.
