Disappearing disk space?

I instaled windows 7 on my system C(40 gb),until now i had around 10 gb fre,which was okay,but suddenly i got 0 bytes free.I opened disk cleanup and it deleted only 700mb of data,but after a few hours it was full again.I din't intall anything recently and I don't know where my space disappears.

With a drive that small you probably need to turn off system restore, and move the pagefile to a different drive if possible.

I haven't used the program token mentioned, but another one which works well is http://windirstat.info/

Its mentioned frequently in these forums, and I've used it many times.
