dunno, the gains compared to the iphone 3G don't warrant an upgrade for me yet. If it looked drasticaly different (but still good) I'd proly get it just for sake of showing off :p

Very useful information for iPhone users i think. Thanks a lot. I'll definetely keep my $40 phone bill until something (hopefully) better comes out next year with a good plan/rates. I'm tired of being stiffed by Sprint/AT&T.

Most likely anything in the 3rd world.

I went to Argentina a couple of months ago and they were asking for $500 dollars (once converted) for a PS2....that's a 2, not a 3. I told my cousins that I can get it for them for $100 in Canada and they couldn't believe it.

Keep in mind, these people don't make the same money we do, they make less so its even more expensive when you consider everything.

Thought the photos are nice - it doesn't tell us too much since it looks like the regular iphone. Guess i'll be waiting until monday for the actual juicy info.

I think the country mentioned should be Malaysia...
I live here and the price is completely ridiculous that I'm sticking back with my Sony Ericsson G900 only...
=)

Paoyean, get a budget plane ticket to Hong Kong. Spend a few nights, see the sights and pick up a 80G PS3 with game for HK$2880. What's that in US$, well about US$360. And that's through the official Sony Style shop!
3Gs iPhone will be out next week. 3G iPhone is going FREE for a 24 month contract with a monthly plan of HK$299 (US$37) that includes 500MB HSDPA data plan a month and more talk minutes than you could ever use. If you want an inifinite data plan, it's only HK$399 (US$50).
