Disbanding armies/fleets

A newbie-ish sort of question, I suppose: During the fall retreat
phase, it is possible to disband an army or fleet which has *not* been
dislodged or otherwise attacked, and then rebuild it in a home SC
during the adjustment? This question has arisen in a few games I've
played in recently, and I am just not sure of the answer. Thanks in

No, you can only disband dislodged units under the standard rules.
