[SOLVED] Disc Utility

Did anybody ever use the Disc Utility Test that Apple has in utilities apps?Meaning verifying the disc to see if any trouble is present? thanks

I use it about once a month to verify my backup drive, used to have issues with a USB drive, switched to FireWire and it hasn't missed a beat since; also occasionally run it on the system drive (probably because I'm from a PC background), it never find anything though.
