Question Discharging to Pc?

I recently upgraded my Pc and moved it to a new location,today when I went to turn it on,I discharged some static electricity to it,is my Pc fine or did I damage it?

Ah alright,It does turn on but I feel like it’s not performing as well

It may be your paranoia. (no offense)

It may be that the computer is downloading/installing updates right now.

Things can happen, for sure. But I've shocked my fair number of actual COMPONENTS (like...right onto the circuit board) and never had any issues. I know that's only one person's experience. But....
