I wake up switch on my computer and out of the blue there are these discolored lines and dots all over the place. The lines are horizontal and tend to stick to certain areas on my screen and even shows up when i'm navigating the BIOS. I tried using DDU to clean out previously existent drivers as well as reinstalling newer drivers back in after a restart but the problem still persisted. I wanted to make sure this wasn't a problem with my motherboard or monitor, so I removed my GPU and plugged my monitor into the HDMI port on my motherboard instead. After doing so everything seemed normal, the lines were gone and so were the dots. This probably means that my GPU is causing the issue here right? Since i'm pretty sure that this isn't an issue with the my drivers, though I still can't be 100% and my graphics card worked fine up to this point with stable temps and after 6 months of use, I doubt anything fried. I personally can't pinpoint anything here other than a faulty graphics card (unlikely; worked great until now) and would greatly appreciate anybodies ideas at what a solution may be.
