When I try to download a big file, it downloads about 1 gig and then my internet disconnects, skype goes out, I can't even load a web page.
I have my LAN Drivers for my motherboard. (ASROCK B75M-DGS)
I tried disabling IPv6
I tried disabling Link.
I tried to rollback my network drivers.
I also tried resetting my router to factory settings and everything. Nothing works!
My router is a Netgear WNR1000v2 (2.4GHz)
OS: Windows 8 Pro 64 bit
I don't understand what's wrong..

Solution
Are you using ethernet or wifi on your computer?

Pick a time of the day when activity from the other members of your family is low and ask them to let you disconnect them for a while, then connect directly to the modem and do a quick test.

The ports on your router are the ethernet ports where the cables are attached. You can swap your cable to another port and see if it still has trouble.
