I have always used ethernet on my pc and whenever I booted up my pc discord would load and greet me with the friends list, now I’ve switched over to using a pcie wifi card and everything such as Spotify and steam loads up normally but my discord shows the loading logo up until I turn my mouse on and start moving it around, does this have something to do with me switching from wired to a wireless connection?

strange your mouse being off seems to be blocking WIFI. PCI and USB are related so it could be PC is waiting for mouse to respond before it goes to next item in "list" and turns WIFI on.

is it a wireless mouse:?

I see the opposite - https://www.quora.com/My-wifi-stops...SB-of-my-wireless-mouse-How-do-I-resolve-this

Yep it is a wireless mouse, for the past 2 days (after I started using the pcie wifi card) it did this but today when I turned my pc on, discord greeted me loaded in and on the friends list, idk why it’s doing this, mouse was also off so idk

But also if this was the case, wouldn’t discord display a message saying failed to connect to wifi and retrying in a few seconds,it was just the normal discord booting up screen
