I built a PC a couple of months back and it occasionally crashes and when it does the the Event Viewer yields :
Disk 1 has the same disk identifiers as one or more disks connected to the system. Go to Microsoft's support website (http://support.microsoft.com) and search for KB2983588 to resolve the issue.
Some info about my disks. One HDD and one SDD. Also a thumb drive.

I renamed disk 1 to {F61022FF-7DA4-4ED4-A040-00D084DD9CB1} based off of the article How to Fix the Disk Signature Collision Error on Windows and it bricked my PC. I was able to change it back and things returned to normal including the crashes with event 158.
Any ideas how to solve this? Cheers!
