So I'm trying to wipe my PC clean after years of accumulated junk. Anyhow...

I have a 240GB SDD that is working. (I'm getting very slow boot times 4~min roughly)

I've been neglecting a HDD that is connected but not functioning properly.

I can see it in the device manager. It says Disk 1 Unknown, Not Initialized.

I checked to see if I could find the disk through cmd --> disk partition. Only my SDD is recognized.

When I try to reinitialized the HDD the MBR is corrupt.

Upon downloading MIni Tool Power Repair. The tool kept crashing when I would try to recover. So

that route isn't working.

I'm stumped. Not sure what else to try.

Any advice welcome

All attempts to initialize have failed. I went through a guide to set a drive letter with no success.

Though if you're familiar with a way I would be willing to take a crack at it.
