[SOLVED] Disk Active Time 100%

Hi, Ive had this https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16822136534 drive for about 2 months and only today has it gone to 100% Active time when little to no tasks are running. Boot ups and Opening programs take 10x as long. It was fine before today. All i can say is that i installed some java programs and messed around with my VM but reverted it, and even then it was working fine after it but couple hours later it started acting sluggish.

I suggest you run checks on that disk but also check for malware as that usually doesn't show in task manager.
Disk itself wise and beautiful woman just run without a cause.

Check for malware first.
Then check the smart status of the drive.
If smart is ok then check your SATA controller drivers, 150KBs top transfer speed is very slow.

Please link us to a screenshot of your CrystalDiskInfo SMART output. Best to see if there are issues right off the bat then spend time runnuing tests .
