Disk at 100% almost all the time.

My disk is always 100% usuage most of the time.

I checked the resource monitor and system seems to the one. Happens when i try to clean up my computer for virus or when using multiple programs.

Antivirus programs also always cause 100% disk usuage. Currently im scanning for virus.

Thats normal, any scan is heavy on disk usage.

Yes, that is what virus scanners do.

The scan your hard drive as fast as possible, so it is using 100% of your disk access during the scan.

i feel like there its something more, i had issues with photoshop cc b4 where it was so laggy that i cant use it and disk usage was 100%, so i switched back to cs6. I noticed that games seem to run at a slightly lower framerate also. i also have issues in somecases where it takes quite sometime for icons to appear when i open a file.

i probably got over paranoid with the scanners thought 100% is abnormal, good to know now.

If the Harddrive is 4 or more years old it might be going out.

Though as long as you have enough Ram the Harddrive does not effect FPS.

its about 2 years old, ram i have about 8gb. maybe memory leak?

i noticed that when i do disk cleanups i always got about 8gb+ of temporary files and 1gb of dump files. Is that hint at a problem?
