disk at 100 percent

I recently bought a new laptop but i have a problem with the disk going to 100 but after an hr or so everything runs very smoothly and the disk usage goes back to normal. Can anyone tell me whats going on and if i can fix it?
My specs:
Win10 64Bit
8 Gb Ram
I7 7700HQ
GTX 1050

It's most likely a software related problem, so whether he has an SSD or a HDD is irrelevant.
