Disk Boot Failure Insert System Disk and Press Enter

Hello guys.. I'm getting common problems problems called "DISK BOOT FAILURE INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER" I don't know how to solve this problem because I'm just a kid...This problem happened yesterday when i was playing computer My dad unplugged the computer... does this have to do with the hard drives? Help Please

Hey there, welcome to the forums.

We are going to need a bit more info. Can you give us the specs on the build? It might clear up what went wrong. The other thing you are gonna need to do is check all of the connections inside the computer. Do you feel comfortable doing that?

What you are looking for is the thin red cable/long stripe that connects to the hard drive. You need to turn off the computer completely and firmly push both ends of the cable into the motherboard/hard drive.

Now is this a one time thing? Does the computer boot? Is it an intermittent issue?
