[SOLVED] disk checking on start up

hey guys just booted my pc and while it booting it said "disc checking" and preform this for about 2 minutes on disc "c" thats my windows disc and its ssd. i have disc "d" also that is hard drive disc and its games disc for me but what caused the disc check? its first time i see this and should i be worried about that or its normal?

it is a normal scheduled task that happens every now and then.

it can be triggered as well if the pc is improperly shut down or for a number of other reasons. it is no cause for concern unless it keeps happening at every start-up. if it only shows this one time and every month or so, then nothing to worry about.
