Question Disk does not exist error

I was gone over the weekend and when I came back one of my drives was not letting me access my files citing that it "did not exist." I tried powercycling, and when it booted up again my drive was completely gone. My other internal drive is fine, and my main SDD is also fine.
So my next idea was to try checking dskmgmt and see if it was there, which it was, but it says it is uninitialized. when I try to initialize it it also says it doesn't exist! I tried powercycling, I tried changing SATA ports, I tried re initializing the disk, and I tried scanning for hardware changes. HELP!

sounds like it died on you, what I would do is disconnect the other drives and just leave that one then boot up a linux USB like ubuntu in live mode then install smartmon tools and use smartctl to status the SMART data on the drive.

You can also install something like Crystal Disk Info and check the status, but I prefer to use linux and avoid any windows problems (up to you)... Post the results either way!
