Since an OEM it would just come by itself, so how would I plug that in if it doesn't come with it?
You buy one or more SATA data cables. Monoprice.com is a good place. Starting at 50 cents each.
The reason an OEM labeled disk does not come with one, is because they are targeted towards a business which either builds or repairs PC's. And they would buy cables in bulk lots of 1,000. Why would they want pay Seagate extra money to include an unneeded cable?
And that is why it was slightly cheaper to you.
