Disk Drive Help

Solution

You buy one or more SATA data cables. Monoprice.com is a good place. Starting at 50 cents each.

The reason an OEM labeled disk does not come with one, is because they are targeted towards a business which either builds or repairs PC's. And they would buy cables in bulk lots of 1,000. Why would they want pay Seagate extra money to include an unneeded cable?
And that is why it was slightly cheaper to you.

So can these SATA Data cables be used for Hard Drives also?

Yes. That is what they are for. Hard drive or DVD drive.

As others users told you, you only need buy the SATA cable on Amazon or monoprice and install i in your rig. The PSU comes with enough power SATA cables for install new HDDs.

Here is an example: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=sata%20cable&sprefix=sata+ca%2Caps&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Asata%20cable&sepatfbtf=true&tc=1378926089797&ajr=sabc

So what one would normally go with both Disk Drive and Hard drive? There are a lot of choices so I'm unsure which one to choose.
