I have 2 WD 4 TB Blue drives. D is the data drive, which is 6 months old. J is new.
When I use Fastcopy 523 it starts copying data at 25 MB/s and Disk D goes too 100% usage and then J goes to 100% usage. It copies fast.
Then J gives a bunch of errors
An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk2\DR2 during a paging operation.
{Delayed Write Failed} Windows was unable to save all the data for the file J:\$Mft. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere.
Disk 2 has been surprise removed.
When I use Fastcopy 211 it is copying data fine but at 2.11 MB/s and both drives are running at 2% usage.
Is that a case of Fastcopy 523 runs too much data too fast through the IO and causes the drive to error out and crash?
I would like it to copy faster and not crash. I've adjusted the buffer parameters of the program but that doesn't affect it.
