Disk management unable to show new Hard drive

I recently bulit a new computer and installed the hard drive.

I checked device manager and the computer says that the hard drive is installed.

When I use disk manager, the hard drive doesn't show up.

(my OS is a downloaded version of windows 7 ultimate activated, if that matters)
