Disk part gone wrong

I am a layman when it comes to computers so my phones memory card was not working and I tried to format it but there was some error so i searched Google for some advice and found about disc part so following the instructions I started to format my SD card as I pressed the format command (it was 0%) when I thought that I should have removed my WD Elements external hard drive I quickly closed the disc part but the damage was done , now I can't find the hard disc in my computer it consists of very important files and documents. I have installed "ease us" software and it's recovering the deleted files but I still can't locate the hard drive on my computer... Please help

Try to connect it to another pc as an external to see if the problem from the hdd or something else

Can you see it in disk management?

Sorry, don't mess with partitions if you don't know what you are doing. The partition tables are either gone or you started a format and the data's gone.

You don't need diskpart to format a sd card.

Yes I found it in disk management but I had to format the drive
