Disk Read Error

This morning I started up my computer and I got an error message.
It said:
A disk read error occurred
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.

Restarting the computer does not work and I tried re-installing windows again but it didn't work. I tried all 3 of my hard drives and it came up with the same error message. I think it might be something to do with the cables but I would like your suggestions first.

PC Specs:
i7 860
P55-UD3L
8gb RAM

Have you checked the boot order in BIOS to make sure it is booting from the correct hard drive?

If you have 3 drives connected it could be trying to boot from the wrong one, or even from a USB stick you have plugged in.

It is booting from the correct hard drive and I have unplugged all my devices.
