So my disk has been running a 97-100% and I have read a few articles on the issue and for me entering " net.exe stop "Windows search" " into the admin command prompt works, although it sometimes takes a few tries. The issue is I have to enter this everytime I turn my computer back on and I want a permanent solution, any suggestions or articles to help with this?

Specs: I have Windows 10, and a 1TB WD Blue hdd

Note: Just ask if any further information is needed, just ask

Any and all help is very much appreciated :)

SSD. HDD, size, make and model? Did the problem just start or has it been ongoing? Any hardware or software changes before the problem began?

Run your AV software first just to eliminate some virus trying to do things.

Use Task Manager and Performance Monitor to identify what process or services are running and reading/writing to disk. Or perhaps attempting to do so.

Are you behind on updates that require data downloads to disk? Or AV downloads that need to receive updates?

Any backup software?

Run the disk troubleshooter applicable to your disk's manufacturer and model.
